My family and I love Vega. The owners come to the tables and check on guests; Peter (one of the best servers in the world) always provides top-notch service and friendly banter. The ambiance inside is warm and intimate, with low lighting. Outside, you feel the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood energy while being kept warm under the many heat lamps to keep the SF chill off. Service is good, food is good, and the specials are delicious. We love coming here. It feels like a warm hug when we come to eat, play a game at the table, and enjoy a nicely paced meal and wine.

We go to Vega all the time. Excellent pasta and fish entree options. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Inside and outside seating options. And in a nice neighborhood.
